Israel's raid on the Nuseirat refugee camp has sparked international outrage, with the European Union condemning it as "a massacre." According to Gaza's health ministry, the death toll has risen to 274, with more than 700 others injured.


Medical professionals have described the situation inside al-Aqsa Hospital in central Gaza as a "complete bloodbath," with one doctor likening it to a "slaughterhouse." Both al-Aqsa and Nasser hospitals are reportedly "overwhelmed," according to Doctors Without Borders.



Israeli forces reported rescuing four captives during the raid on the Nuseirat refugee camp, amid widespread criticism over the high number of civilian casualties. One Israeli officer lost his life during the operation.

Since the conflict began on October 7, at least 37,084 people have been killed and 84,494 injured in Gaza. In Israel, the revised death toll from Hamas’s attacks stands at 1,139, with dozens of people still held captive in Gaza.
