In celebration of the summer solstice on June 20, Kroger grocery stores are planning to give away an impressive 45,000 pints of their own-brand ice cream. This giveaway means 50 pints for every one of the "900 minutes of sunlight" anticipated on the longest day of the year. Juan De Paoli, vice president of Kroger's store brands division, expressed his enthusiasm about the event, stating, "With more sunshine to enjoy a sweet treat, we are giving away ice cream for 15 hours straight; that is a whole lot of free ice cream!"

To participate in this sweet celebration, customers need to visit FreeKrogerIceCream.com on June 20 to secure a limited-time, single-use digital coupon. This coupon is valid for any Kroger brand ice cream pint, while supplies last, and can be redeemed until June 27. However, there is a notable restriction: the coupons are not valid in ten states where Kroger-operated stores are located, including California, Colorado, Idaho, Louisiana, Missouri, Mississippi, North Dakota, Nevada, Tennessee, and Virginia. Despite this limitation, the coupons should be accepted at all other locations within the Kroger Family of Stores.

Kroger operates over 2,750 supermarkets across 35 states, so customers can easily find a nearby store using the store locator on Kroger's official website. Don't miss out on this chance to enjoy a free pint of ice cream and celebrate the start of summer!
