PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Howard Eskin, a prominent sports radio host in Philadelphia, has been suspended from attending Phillies home games for the rest of the season. This decision came after an investigation by his employer revealed that he had kissed a worker from Citizens Bank Park's food service provider, Aramark, without consent.

Audacy, the parent company of Philadelphia's SportsRadio 94WIP, announced that it had launched an investigation into the incident upon learning about the "unwelcome kiss," according to a report by The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Aramark, the food service provider for Citizens Bank Park, and the Phillies both released statements addressing the situation.

"We cooperated with our partners at Audacy and Aramark during their investigations," the Phillies stated, emphasizing their serious stance on the allegations. "We support Audacy’s decision to suspend Howard Eskin from Citizens Bank Park."

Aramark added, "We collaborated with Audacy and the Phillies to ensure the necessary steps were taken to protect our employee and all Aramark employees at Citizens Bank Park."

Neither Audacy nor Eskin responded immediately to requests for comment from The Associated Press.

Eskin, a Philadelphia native, is a well-known figure in the city's sports media scene. He played a key role in launching SportsRadio 94WIP’s first sports talk show in 1986 and continues to be a significant presence on the station and in sports television.
